Business Travel Consultant

LOCATION: Philippines, Metro Manila (Remote)
ROLE PURPOSE:
As a travel consultant at ISON Travel, you will be an integral part of supporting our UK and US teams and dedicated to providing exceptional support for our corporate clients’ business travel needs.
Your role is pivotal in ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective travel arrangements while delivering top-tier service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with corporate clients. Serve as the primary point of contact for their travel requirements.
- Travel Planning and Coordination: Expertly manage all aspects of business travel, including flight bookings, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and itinerary planning. Ensure client itineraries align with their business objectives and preferences.
- Servicing Optimization: Monitor and seek opportunities for cost savings while maintaining the highest standards of service. Negotiate corporate rates and discounts with travel providers to increase profits.
- Travel Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with corporate travel policies and guidelines. Stay updated/educate clients on policy requirements and help them make informed decisions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of travel bookings, expenses, and client preferences. Generate and send invoices as required promptly.
- Safety and Security: Stay informed about global travel advisories, health alerts, and security updates. Implement risk management protocols to safeguard travelers.
- Travel Technology Proficiency: Utilize travel management software and platforms effectively to streamline booking processes and access real-time travel information.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- GDS – Galileo, Amadeus or Sabre experience
- Multiple GDS experience is a plus
- Must have experience in flight bookings, hotel, ground transportation, and itinerary planning.
- 3 years of proven experience as a Travel Consultant in a corporate or business travel environment.
- Experience working with US and UK corporate or leisure accounts is a plus.
- Good European and US geography knowledge
- Familiarity with travel booking tools and corporate travel management systems.
- Experienced in using consolidators for air, hotel and car reservations
- Experienced in net and published fares, including NDC
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work on day shift, night shift, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of corporate travel policies and compliance requirements.
- Relevant certifications in business travel management are advantageous.
