Our adventures in the travel industry began in 2013 when we set up ISON Travel to help businesses manage their travel needs. Since then, we’ve grown our team and areas of expertise, branching out into Media, Jets, and luxury Leisure travel as well as our specialist Sports arm, originally known as Sir Stanley Matthews Travel.
Sir Stanley Matthews Travel was set up in honour of English footballer Sir Stanley Matthews, who is the grandfather of our owners Matt and Helen. Sir Stanley is often regarded as one of the greatest players of the British game and is the only player to have been knighted while still playing football. His nicknames included “The Wizard of the Dribble” and “The Magician” – and we try to harness some of that magic in our travel management skills!
Our sports team specialise in working with elite sporting organisations and businesses to help them take centre stage at venues and competitions across the world.
