Marketing Manager

FUNCTION:  Growth Team 

LOCATION:  Home Based 

REPORTS TO: Chief Growth Officer 

 

ROLE PURPOSE:   

We are seeking a results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and play a crucial role in growing our presence within the Business Travel, Groups Travel and Corporate Event Management space. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of B2C marketing strategies specific to the travel industry. You will work closely with our client partnerships team (Sales and Account Managers) to develop and execute marketing campaigns that enhance our brand presence and drive customer acquisition and retention. 

KEY RESPONSIBIITIES:  

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive annual marketing plan, aligning with company growth goals and budgets. 
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns that effectively target our key customer segments. 
  • Execute digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media marketing, to increase brand visibility and website traffic. 
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and customer behaviour to identify new opportunities and threats. 
  • Manage the company’s online presence, ensuring our website and social media profiles are up-to-date and engaging. 
  • Creation of high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, videos, and other resources, to attract and engage our target audience. 
  • Develop marketing collateral and materials, including brochures, advertisements, and promotional materials. 
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess ROI and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key partners and suppliers to enhance marketing efforts. 
  • Support the sales team with marketing materials, customer insights, and strategies to help them achieve their sales targets.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus. 
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager in the travel industry or a related B2C field. 
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing and google analytics. 
  • Experience with salesforce preferrable 
  • Experience working within WordPress CMS 
  • Exceptional communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and data-driven decision-making. 
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas. 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills. 
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
