Global marine and offshore airfares

Our exceptional service is backed up by our ability to ensure you maximise your budget.We are fully accredited with IATA to sell dedicated marine fares, offering you savings, flexibility and additional luggage allowances. However, we always compare marine and offshore fares with our own in-house fares, to make sure you’re getting the best deal.

Eligibility criteria

Marine and energy fares are designed to help manage the unpredictable nature of the shipping and energy industries’ travel requirements. Although these fares are strictly controlled by carriers, the eligibility for use is generally the same:

1) Seamen travelling on duty to/from vessel and who are in possession of a valid seaman’s book.

2) Staff employed to work on a vessel, but not a registered seaman but who are added to the manifest.

3) A wife/husband of a seaman travelling to/from vessel and who has been added to the ship’s manifest.

4) Engineers, Contractors, Surveyors and Superintendents travelling to/from vessel to carry out work on a vessel whether in dock or at sea.

5) Persons engaged in repositioning of semi-submersibles or drilling rigs under their own power. Most airlines also require the passenger to carry a letter from the shipping company or employer (on Company headed paper), confirming:

  • Passenger Name
  • Destination
  • Purpose of travel
  • Name of vessel
  • Port of Registry
